2026 Prayer + Vision Board
New year, new me! I’ve never felt more ready to start this year with the intention to dream with the Lord. As cliché as it may sound to some, I truly believe that there is so much power in partnering with God as you begin each year.
I recently hosted a prayer/vision board night with my friends. We created our 2026 board filled with prayers and photos, giving us a visual reminder of our intentions for the year. I decided that I also wanted to create a digital prayer/vision board so that it would always be in my reach when I needed encouragement or a reminder of my goals for the year.
I want to encourage you to start your year with intention and take time to think about where you want to see growth in your life. Ask God to reveal the areas that He wants to develop you, and pray for specific steps and direction. I believe by doing so, you are going to see God's goodness this year in your life.
Spiritual growth
When it comes to time with God. I want to be more intentional about giving myself grace when I can’t spend hours with God due to the season of life I am in, but I also want to ensure that the time I do have is intentional and pure, even in the midst of chaos.
Prayer with my husband is the most important prayer in my opinion. Our union is divine in the Lord’s eyes, and our collective prayers are powerful. We have so much on our plates, plus three little lives that we are responsible for, so being intentional about our prayer time (even if that means waking up before the sun rises) is my top priority for a God-filled home and life.
Bible study with friends is, in my eyes, an amazing way to connect with my community, relate to one another and where we are in our walk with the Lord, and challenge one another spiritually with grace.
Marriage and family
We have a lot of family goals this year, including where we want to live, the kids’ extracurriculars, financial goals, and how we want to spend quality time, to name a few. The most important of all is creating time to connect as husband and wife in the midst of our busy days to plan the details of what we desire for our family this year. God gave us dreams and desires, and He requires us to do our part and make a plan. We don’t need to know every detail or how everything will happen, but we do need to partner with God and write the vision down.
Date nights have always been a goal for us, but this year I want to be intentional about making the most out of the time we do have rather than focusing on the time we don’t. We don’t have a lot of time to ourselves, so I want to find creative ways to carve out time for one another this year, so we are always prioritizing our marriage before anything else.
Personal
Wellness and clean eating are my biggest personal goals for the year. Although I have many goals for myself, I've realized that if I don’t feel good, I don’t operate at my best, which means those other goals go right out the window. This means consuming whole foods, moving my body with intention, and creating time for rest and resetting.
Intention with social media is another goal of mine. I promised myself that I will retire my husband through my social media. When? I don’t know, but God does. What I do know is that with intention, a plan, and consistency, it will happen. I have many small goals that are a part of the bigger picture, but consistency is how it will all unfold.
Creating is my outlet, whether that be a craft, a vlog, a blog, or even making fun meals in the kitchen. I want to do more creating this year and less consuming. It truly fills my cup and allows me to be expressive in such a beautiful way
Reading more is also a very big goal of mine this year. I want to rewire my brain to pick up a book for leisure before my phone, and I believe if my kids see me reading more and less on my devices, they will have the desire to do the same. After all, kids do what they see!
These are just a few of my prayers and visions for 2026. I have many more that I will be going into detail about in the upcoming blogs, so stay tuned for that. I truly hope that this inspired you to start thinking about how you can partner with God this year. He has so much in store for you and wants to help you achieve all He has placed on your heart.
